I have a 1993 2+2 NA. It has about 117000 miles on it now. I bought it a little more than a year ago with about 103000 miles on it. It has been well-maintained both on the exterior and the interior and the engine. The 60,000 mile timing belt change was done, and just recently I did the 120,000 mile timing belt change. The engine has always had synthetic oil in it. All maintainence has been done as required. The previous owner took good care of it and it doesn't seem to have been abused.
I use it as a daily driver, but rarely do I drive it "hard." Occasionally, if I'm in a hurry or trying to show off to someone, I might drive it like a madman. I keep great care of it, changing the oil every 3000 miles and uses Mobil 1 synthetic. When I first got it a year ago, had to replace the clutch and the master/slave cylinders and recently the water pump began to leak, so I did the 60,000 mile timing kit replacement on it. That's all I've had to do. I get great gas mileage, the engine purrs, everything seems perfect.
Given all this information, what can I expect from this car? I just love it and hope I can keep it for at least another 10 years and that it will continue to run well. Is this realistic? Can this car last well over 200,000 miles if properly maintained? Thanks for any information you might have.
